I certainly expected to blog more often, and maybe that will improve. I have to report though, that I am in week five of my move to move. 3-4 times a week I am doing cardio. Sometimes more. I started out week one going one mile on my elliptical, and in the last five weeks I've upped it to 2 miles per time, and shaved time off - to be at 2 - 15 minute miles. Some nights we walk as it's warmer outside, but still do 2 miles in a half hour. Can't believe I've made it five weeks. Not sure what I've lost on the scale - up and down - but my clothes are starting to fit better, I get less winded, and I don't have a hard time going up and down the stairs.
Slow and steady will win this race - slowly building muscle, improving my cardio.
My goal is to get to a 5K. 3.2 miles - at least 3 times a week. I'll then mess with speed and resistance to improve the workout.
Was thinking 5K by summer, but now think my bday at the end of April! Can I do it?
